self portrait challenge
i spent many days as a drifter
as passive and spineless
mostly invisible
today i forgive myself for staying silent when i should have spoken up for myself
for looking away when i needed to be strong
for excuses i made for others
i am not holding on any longer
my jellyfish days are over
and this forgiveness is my gift
more imperfections here
