Great list! Happy birthday early (in case I forget to say it on The Day)
I love your list. I love that your pregnancy was the begining and you proved people wrong!!
I love your list! Late March babies are my favorite. (=
happy birthday!!!...a little early. i love this idea and think i will write 33 things about me on my next bday.
For one, where was this taken?
Two, your list, my response:
i don't think of myself as old (never, you look younger each time I see you)
i got married young, i was 20
that was 7 happy years ago (well, young, nah, it's how you dealt with the ups and downs of a relationship, which in my opinion, you have done an awesome job holding together.)
i am the mother of a girl (age 6) and a boy (age 2.5) (I envy everyday; I wish I could have 2 children--one is wonderful but two, it contributes to another part of who you are.)
i consider motherhood my job (a wonderful feeling when you truly appreciate the wonders of trials and tribulations of molding and developing a simple, innocent human being.)
i get paid to paint (Another envy, I wish I could do the same...my career path has taken me to a whole new dimension.)
i wanted to be an artist when i grew up (me too but, that is not where I put my energies.)
i have a tattoo on my back (me too! Love it, love it, love it.)
i got it when i turned 18, mostly to piss my mother off (I got mine at 30 but, i did it to piss my husband.)
it worked (yah, it did work...LOL.)
i completed my first year of college (Well, you know...no need to go into this territory.)
i found out i was pregnant when i was 19 (I 30, and it was a SURPRISE but a welcomed one.)
everyone thought it would be the end of me (let me clarify this billet, I didn't think it would be the end of you...I knew you could do it and you were responsible. I knew you loved children!)
it was my beginning (yes, a beginning and an adventure.)
i am married to a hunky carpenter (yes...no further comment...lucky girl.)
i've always loved to blow bubbles (me too...especially now with peanut.)
i like the round liquid rainbows wobbling though the air (peanute points that out as well.)
i have had the same best friend for 13 years (well, your lucky in this department...I had a best friend for exactly 13 years too but mom's personality and rudeness severed all ties.)
i secretly liked algebra (I loved algebra in high school and after but don't seem to use it much in real life.)
i have 1 brother and 2 sisters who are twins (true--kinda blah once I read it...oh well.)
as a kid when i told friends that they would ask if i was a triplet (really! wom?!)
i was raised by my mother and grandmother (lucky girl...the 2 best people in the world; besides you of course.)
they instilled in me a love for reading (I totally agree with this; smart values.)
i am afraid of climbing ladders (you are, why?)
my favorite color is green (OMG, peanuts is green, like you cannot begin to imagine...ugh!)
i only play the lottery on our wedding anniversary (smart move.)
i have reduced the garbage i produce by 2 bags (earth friendly...nice daily practice.)
peanutsmom -this photo was taken at grammy's house down at the beach, you have always been my cheerleader, i am lucky to have you!
i think because i am on the tall side and very clumsy, that's why i'm afraid to climb ladders - i am more afraid to fall off i guess...
What a great post!!! I won't go into it, but we actually have a lot in common...I hope you had a great B-day! :)
